We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing and coding functions during an upcoming system transition. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact implementation project, with potential for extension based on performance.
Location: San Antonio TX
Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday WFH.
Length: 6 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $31.04
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounts payable data entry, including general ledger coding for both PO and non-PO invoices
- Process monthly invoice volumes ranging from approximately 7 to 1,000 invoices
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, research issues, and ensure timely reconciliation
- Prepare reports and accounting schedules to support financial operations
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or business-related experience
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and analytical capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA required
- Experience with Ariba and Concur Invoice strongly preferred

- Transition to a new invoice coding platform effective July 1.
- Role requires strong multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Standard training period is approximately two weeks; however, due to the team's platform implementation, training may be extended.
